Tim Woods
A leading industry analyst with over 25 years of experience in the forestry and wood products sector. As Managing Director of Industry Edge, he has advised governments, industry bodies, and global clients on market trends, supply chain strategy, and resource economics.
Dr David Brand
Founder of New Forests. Global innovation leader in forest management and investment. Chair of the International Sustainable Forestry Coalition, representing global interests in sustainable forest management and investment. With extensive experience in forestry, carbon markets, and climate-focused finance, he has shaped international strategies linking forests to the low-carbon economy.
Dr Michelle Freeman
A professional forester with two decades of experience across operational forestry, conservation, and strategic policy. As President of Forestry Australia, she has championed professional standards, gender equity, and innovation in forest management.
Karina Coombes
Co-Chair of the Tiwi Islands Training and Employment Board (TITEB), based in Pirlangimpi on Melville Island. A dedicated Tiwi woman and community advocate, she also works as a community-based researcher with the Menzies School of Health Research and serves as a Director at Northern Building Consultants.
Andrew Lyon
Brings over 20 years of experience in public-sector forestry and forest research, specialising in commercial operations, governance, and policy reform. Andrew currently leads business services at the Forest Products Commission WA, focusing on analytics, strategy, and investment planning.
Andrew Hurford
A third-generation forester with deep experience in private native forestry, plantation management, and wood processing. Andrew operates several sawmills and manages extensive forest holdings across Northern NSW. As Chair of the Northeast NSW Regional Forestry Hub, he brings strategic regional leadership and on-the-ground industry insight.
