About the project
This study aimed to identify who Australian farmers trust for information, advice and support related to farm emissions management and carbon farming and understand the reasons behind this trust. Farmer demand for support in these areas is likely to increase, given supply chain and policy signals. The research, conducted in April-June 2025 provides knowledge to inform policy makers, farm services and industry groups, farm consultants and other stakeholders about possible ways to enhance trust and strengthen the advisory system.
