Overview
The purpose of this CCIF project was to develop an ARC project proposal intended to address the disconnection between Research Development and Extension (RD&E) policy and its realization in adoption of innovation on farm.
Project Summary
This purpose of this project was to scope the emerging issues associated with changes to Australia’s agricultural RD&E system, in particular the changes to networks between research, development and extension as public funding reduces and the private sector becomes increasingly integrated as a provider and delvier of RD&E services.The project involves an interdisciplinary reference group to develop and design strategies to support primary industry innovation systems. A literature review and research proposal will be developed in conjunction with partners to develop knowledge of the impact of these changes and the relatiove progress of ag RD&E toward an innovation system.
