Miyoshi Diniyal
My name is Miyoshi Diniyal and I am a third-year Applied Chemistry student at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, with a strong interest in pharmaceutical discovery in traditional medicine. This summer, I have the privilege of undertaking an Amgen Scholars internship under the guidance and supervision of Dr Jason Goodger and Dr Guillermo Garcia Gimenez.
Jasmine Biechunzi Liu
I am a Master of Science student at the University of Melbourne, supervised by Dr Jason Goodger and Prof Spencer Williams. My research focuses on the isolation and characterisation of plant-derived natural products, particularly from Eucalyptus species.
Xin Li
My name is Xin Li, and my preferred name is Jerry. I am a Master of Science student at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Dr Jason Goodger and Dr Guillermo Garcia Gimenez. My research project investigates flavonoid biosynthesis in Eucalyptus, with a focus on identifying the enzymatic pathways involved in their production.
Yian Yang
My name is Yian Yang, and my preferred name is Ann. I am a Master’s student in Urban Horticulture at the University of Melbourne, under the supervision of Dr Jason Goodger and Dr Guillermo Garcia Gimenez. My research focuses on the functional and chemical characterisation of flavonoid methylation in Eucalyptus, with the aim of identifying and characterising methyltransferases involved in flavonoid biosynthesis.
Onery Nexus Zhu
My Name is Liyuan Zhu and go by Onery. I am a new PhD student at the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences, the University of Melbourne. I completed my undergraduate and Honours degree at the University of Queensland with first-class Honours in Chemistry. I will be studying the biosynthesis of Eucalyptus flavonoids under the co-supervision of Dr. Jason Goodger, Dr. Guillermo Garcia Gimenez and Prof. Spencer Williams.
