A/Prof Gyorgy Scrinis
Gyorgy's research examines the politics, policy and philosophy of food, nutrition and agriculture, with a focus on the philosophy of nutrition science, the public health impacts of ultra-processed foods, the power of transnational food corporations, and university student food insecurity.
Project topics:
- The food system and corporate drivers of ultra-processed food production, and distribution.
- Policies for regulating ultra-processed foods.
- Food insecurity of university students.
