Centre for Environmental and Economic Research (CEER)
The Centre for Environmental and Economic Research (CEER) in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences is a multidisciplinary research group of ecologists, data analysts, economists and animal and plant health specialists that focus on environmental and economic outcomes.
Its current projects focus on the impacts of global warming, pre-border and in-country biosecurity measures, sea level rise and storm surge effects, and measures and improvements in agricultural productivity. Team members also work closely with the Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis (CEBRA), Biosecurity Commons and the Agricultural & Resource Economics and Agribusiness (AREA) Research Group at the University of Melbourne.
