Olajumoke Ogedengbe, a Doctor of Philosophy candidate in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Melbourne, has been awarded the prestigious Dr Frank Cope Scholarship for Agronomy in 2025.
This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students conducting research in Agronomy at the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences.
Olajumoke’s research focuses on enhancing crop resilience through innovative agronomic techniques. Her passion for agriculture stems from her upbringing in Africa and her professional experience working with her country’s government, where she witnessed the urgent need for technical solutions to support farmers facing the growing impact of climate change.
